(Poetry) when the words don’t do the thing

help
how do i word
i no know how to word
the brain does the thing
but the words won’t word
when i want them to

so much i want to say
but the thoughts won’t hit the page
they bounce away

the words don’t stay
why won’t they do the thing
how do i brain
how do i think

a song of sounds doth play for me
but before the notes can hit the page
they fade

i want so badly to create
but the words…
they
just
won’t
cooperate

get
on
the
page

stay

  2. I hear you, friend. Sometimes the words play hard to get. Let the thoughts flow without worrying about perfection. Write freely, and you might find the elusive words deciding to stay. The dance between thoughts and words can be tricky, but your creativity will find its rhythm. Keep at it!
