Well, this sure has been a year, alright. Between the pandemic, the TDW identity crisis, my chaotic work schedule, and a myriad of other things I’d rather not discuss here, it’s been a rough journey… but we’re still here. I survived, you survived, and really, isn’t that what matters?
So, let’s get down to business (to defeat the Huns). Last year’s resolution (create a working upload schedule) kinda fell apart, and I didn’t get as much done as I would’ve liked. Even now, truth be told, I’m still not happy with the way things stand… but at least now, I have a better idea of where I’d like to be. That’s one good thing to come out of this mess, I suppose.
Anyway, not counting updates and my new poems over on Typing DeWords (*wink wink nudge nudge*), I wrote 27 new pieces. That’s about on par with my first year in 2020, but I know I can do better. Had the aforementioned crisis not happened, I’m certain I could’ve pushed past 30. This year, therefore, my resolution will be to raise the bar and write at least 35 posts.
Now that I’ve settled on a proper niche, I’d like to fiddle a bit more with the site’s design and formatting. That task should be less painful at least, now that I’ve gotten a laptop stronger than a potato. No longer do I have to suffer through a whole minute of lag just to access my post drafts.

The amount of games I can play has also increased dramatically, so I’ll likely cover more games in the future. When even was the last time I covered video games here?
As for my next plans… I’ve got some unfinished business to settle regarding a train called Snowpiercer. The 2013 movie isn’t gonna be on Netflix for much longer, and the TV series is set to air its 3rd season soon… so basically, what I’m saying is this: Expect a lot of Snowpiercer content over the next few months.
Also, the 3rd and final part of my 12 Rules for Life analysis is in the works, so that should be coming out relatively soon.
I think that about covers the important points, so I’m gonna wrap up here. I wish you a Happy New Year! Let’s hope that 2022 is a better year, for all of us.
